Virtual Happy Hour: Juggling Life, Work, and Covid
Thursday, February 18, 2021, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM CDT
Category: Professional Development

Navigating work, housework, caregiving, and homeschooling is a daily challenge for many of us during COVID-19. Join us for an open discussion to share practical resources that shed light on the load we're all carrying, ways to re-strategize, and suggestions for juggling it all.

Registration Information

This event is for MCCA members only and pre-registration is required.

About MCCA Virtual Happy Hours

Whether you're working remotely or back in your campus office, times of stress make it all too easy to put your head down and focus entirely on work. We're shaking that up with the introduction of our monthly Virtual Happy Hours.

We know what you're thinking: Virtual happy hours? We're on video conference calls all day. But that face-to-face interaction—even if it's virtual—is more important than ever now. It's a replacement for all the conferences and in-person meetups that've been canceled over the past 12 months.

Our Virtual Happy Hours—or discussion groups—allow for networking, mentorship, and other professional and personal development opportunities.

All sessions are capped at 20 participants to allow for real conversations to happen and ensure that everyone has a chance to have their voice heard. We celebrate the diversity of our staff, our board, our members, and the partners with whom we work. Through MCCA's Virtual Happy Hour events, we welcome, embrace, and respect people's diversity, identities, and cultures. We're committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.

We hope you'll join us or suggest a topic you'd like to participate in.
