Peter Phippen has been working in Higher Education for the past 13 years. He specializes in international higher education and has lived throughout Asia at different times. Currently, Peter is the Director of Global Sales at ConexED, headquartered in Salt Lake City. He has previously worked as the Asian Director of Recruitment for EC Higher Education, as well as the Global Recruitment Coordinator at Old Dominion University. He also spent a number of years working with Chegg, helping over 300 different universities across the globe with their international marketing efforts.

Peter earned his degree in Asian Studies from Utah State University and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He has organized several higher education recruitment tours throughout China and the United States and regularly presents at all major conferences and events. He also loves snowboarding, all things outdoors and convincing his three children that Star Wars is the greatest movie series of all time.

As a Learning Experience Designer, creating learning experiences that enable the learner to achieve the desired learning outcomes in a human centered and goal-oriented way is Jessica’s objective. Her role, beyond course design and development, focuses on producing creative visual content such as graphs or interactive elements as well as accessibility for videos. As the LMS Administrator, Jessica is responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions. This includes evaluating, implementing, and maintaining third party integrations. Jessica also serves on LMS Governance committees to help set standards based on features, security, and processes along with training and quality control.  

Seven years onsite IT Managed Services at State Fair Community College as Sr User Services Specialist serving as audio/visual specialist and training on classroom technology, LMS Administrator for Blackboard/Canvas. Transferred to a remote position of Learning Experience Designer working with multiple colleges around the United States to improve the online learning experience and develop online courses.

Art Janowiak III is the VP of Sales and Marketing at The Conover Company. He graduated from St. Norbert College and loves helping people better themselves. He has experience speaking, training and putting together online courses for emotional intelligence and soft skills. He currently lives in Appleton, WI with his wife and three children.

College faculty and staff are using Conover’s tools to equip their students with the soft skills and growth mindset needed for success. Derrick Reives has spent his 20+ year career in high technology and e-commerce  – from Texas to Boston, and most recently at the FedEx and AutoZone headquarters in Memphis.  He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  Then, obtained his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.  Along the way, he has always had a passion for entrepreneurship and helping people.  He now has the opportunity to pursue both passions as co-founder of CareerQuo.
